Juliet

The 2020 chardonnay’s youthful nose is closed at first, offering quiet, impenetrable earthiness. But with air, as the wine opens up, high-toned hints of lemon and orange zest arrive with lemon curd, winter melon, all bound elegantly in a nuanced, incredibly tasteful wrapping of spicy oak. Surprisingly, in its youth, the wine’s palate is far more open than its nose, offering clear indication of what the young wine will eventually become. Here you find white peach, fresh raw cream, grassy butter, and succulent pink lady apple. A delightfully lively experience in the mouth, Juliet is animated by bright, juicy acidity. The wine balances all of these elements gracefully, concluding in a vast, memorable finish. A truly balanced, complex, and irresistibly delicious Chardonnay.

99 Points, James Suckling

"The depth and purity here is really something, with phenolic layers that carry you deep into the soul of the wine. It’s full-bodied, yet remains agile and cerebral. Flint, matchstick, dried apple, pear and a hint of pineapple. It changes in the glass all the time. Drink or hold."
